Well I thought I had seen it all. Prices are still on the rise, and Buyers are still very competitive in Silicon Valley Real Estate. Today I just closed 149 Eunice in Mountain View very close to El Camino Hospital. It was listed for $1,495,000 and it was 1598 sq. ft. of living space in original condition. The only thing we did to it was take off the wallpaper, paint and redo the hardwood floors. We had multiple offers and it just closed for $1,825,000!! This beats the previous recent sales on Villa Nueva, Carol, Levin and Sun-Mor. The inventory remains very low, with few houses for all the new buyers entering the marketplace. New Buyers are taking the long term approach of realizing what the future value will be based on historical data, and they jump in, both feet first! For Sellers, great news!
